I heard a fun way to feed these guys is to put a piece of grocery shrimp under the sand and hide it and the fish will look all over blowing sand up to find it i tried this with krill and the fish didnt even look does it need grocery store shrimp because it has a more distinct smell or was my fish just no hungry
