question about a maxima clam and acros

tonight i just noticed that there is a white spot on a maxima clam i just purchased last weekend. just curious what it could be. i have a feeling it's an issue with my lights. i may not have properly aclimated the clam or a few sps to the new lights correctly. i have 1 acro thats showing signs of what almost looks like a burn.and lost another acro this week i believe it was from stress from the light it was under a 150watt hqi and is now under a 250watt hqi. all acros were doing great until i went to the new lights. my plan is to cut down the amount of time the lights are on for the next week or so. i just want to be sure that, that may be the issue with that clam and sps. and if that is a way to correct the problem i'm having.
tested water and everything i tested for seemed about right.
ph 8.3
ammonia 0
nitrate under 5
nitrite 0
salinity 1.024
phosphate undetectable
alk 9 dkh
calcium tested at 470 i am going to comfirm this test on a new kit tomorrow.

if they all came from lesser light, it could certainly be light shock. start off with 3-4 hours 1st week, then increase by 1 the following. corals really need 4-5 hours of light each day anyway. but if u want more growth, then leave it longer in the future. make sure the clam isnt getting too strong of a flow.white spot on a clams mantle is reversible.
