question about actinics

no. most people have them come on one hour before white lights and stay on one hour after white lights go off to simulate dawn and dusk. Moon lights on at night.

Yeah...I agree with^^^^^ but actinics are also color enhancing lights. They bring out more vibrant colors in your fish/corals. I Turn mine on an hour before my other lights and leave turn them off two hours after I turn off all the lights. BTW, yes I leave the actinics on while the other lights are on as well; a total of 10 hours a day.
