question about alge and lighting

i have a small ten gallon i am trying to set up as little salt water tank i don't want to grow coral just invert. and fish. i have two compact floresent lights that are just for the home. and i am getting nothing but alge. is that why if so where can i get the right lights for a ten gallon

How long has your tank been set up and what do you have in it? Do you use RO/DI water? How much do you feed?
