Question about Alk and Ca

If i over dosed my alk from 7 to 12dkh in a 24 hour time period. Can i bring that down by dosing calcium?
im asking because i think this imbalance has affected my ph. its now down to 8.0 at daytime 7.8 at night

i would do a decent sized water change. by adding more calc into the system i believe you could cause the two to join and precipitate out of solution.

yea but my water change water has a high alk like 14-15dkh

sorry not 14-15 but heres a chart, i use Reef Crystals. its one of the highest salt alk contents out there, hence why i overshot my alk
