Question about Aquaclear powerheads.....

Does anybody know if you need anything else besides what comes in the package for the aquaclear 70 powerhead?

You should not need anything else other than what comes with the box.... You can look up online to see if everything came with your setup.

Watch out though on the Aquaclear 70's though the inlet plugs quickly so either run a prefilter on them or use it as your pump to mix your salt or in your fuge. I had them and scrapped them after they burned out after 4 months. I celebrated when the Korillas came out. More flow for not to much more cash and heck 2 of mine are now 3 years old and not one issue except for losing the madnets that mounted them to the outside. Replaced them with a cheap alage magnet from Wal-Mart.

I agree. The Koralia is definitely a better investment. I have Koralia's and an AquaClear and will be replacing the the AC with another Koralia very soon.
