Question about Birds Nest?

hello there
i have a 29g bio cube with the stock 72w light. my corals are doing great. but i want to put a birds nest in my tank. will it do ok? i dont really care about how long it takes to grow. but aslong as its beautiful and wont die im ok.
will it do ok?
should i improve my light?

of course upgrade the lighting if possible. if all of ur water parameters r correct, having a birdsnest near the top is possible. u might not get the coloration u desire though, since it might turn brown due to the lack of light.

i can but too much money lol. i think i will put it on the top. but if it turns brown is that bad?

brown isnt bad. just make sure ur flow, calcium and alk r correct.

well ima add the koralia 1. and they said that was good. and how can i check my calcium and alk?

with a test kit. maybe u should test ur water parameters b4 getting a birdsnest. otherwise, u will just be throwing money away.

Yea me and nycbob are sayin pretty much the same thing. I say itll bleach, bob says brown. Both are undesirable but it may, or may not survive. IMHO, if youre going to try it, dont spend too much on it so that if it dies, youre not in the hole.
