This stuff is amazing... I have seen numerous tanks with very high phosphate levels that have dosed this stuff and the phosphate is unmeasureable...Does anyone know how this stuff works and where does the phosphate go. Any long term effects???? It just seems to good to be true....
Thanks

not sure on the product but i am pretty sure phosphate tests on test for 1 of the 2 forms of phosphates. there are organic and inorganic phosphates. macro algea only use organic phoshates and that is what the tests also work for. products like rowaphos and phosban will reduce the untestable inorganic phosphates along with water changes and good maintaience practices. I might have the organic / inorganic mixed up but doesnt change my direction.
