If an anemone from one colony, meets an anemone from another colony then yes it is possible. As to the degree of If it will or not I can't say. I do know that some people have mixed them before without problem, some have had one die but could not figure out why.
I have a colony of BTA's that do fine with about 8 to 10 in the colony, all identical clones.. I have never introduced another (stranger) to the mix.
The choice is yours. Personally I would prefer to see you only get one and see if you can get it to split on its own, then you will have two.
