I was looking at Caribsea Agra-Alive live sand and it says not to wash this just to add it to the tank. Is this right can you add this right to your tanks with out washing it? Says its packed in real sea water, but from what i have read on here you should wash the live sand.. MY tank will be new not cycled... Any help on this???

If its a brand new tank you don't really have to rinse it.It'll settle after a while-if you feel the need to rinse it do it with salt water not fresh, you don't want to kill any of the bacteria.

I used this exact brand in my tank,,,,,Rinse it...If you dont the water will get really cloudy....
SO even if my tank has not been cycled i should still rinse the sand in salt water and discard the water that came with it???
Thanks for the quick reply

Oh, didnt know the tank wasnt cycled. It is your choice whether or not to run the filter. Your water will cloud up from the sand if you dont rinse it. It may settle, but when you get the flow going with powerheads, it stirs it back up. So if your not going to rinse it, IMO I would run the filter to take out the cloudiness. But its really up to you....
