question about corals

im new to corals and i got my first ones in the other day. they all came on little pieces of rock. do i need to take them off the pieces of rock they came on and glue them to my rock? or should i just put the frag onto my rock and let it go?

Depending on the corals, it can be done either way (i.e. remove corals with a sharp knife or scalpel, superglue them to your rock or simply superglue the frag rock onto your rock). Some I prefer to remove (like zoas), others where I'm not real sure, I simply leave attached and glue the rock.

i have a 3 head acan coral and it's on a weird shaped rock. can i just use a knife to scrape it off and than super glue it to a rock in my tank? what kind of super glue should i use? any specific brand?
also i got a mazebrain, favia, and a something else that looks like a favia(don't know it's name) and their all on pieces of rock also. do i need to scrape them off or should i just glue the rock their on to my rockwork?

Fraid I don't know anything about any of these corals, although I would guess that most are LPS ~ and I would simply leave them on their own rock and glue it to my rock ~ but I PMed someone for you who knows more about these than I do.

Do you have a picture of the corals on their current rocks?
Acan you should be able to just frag off the rock, not scrape and use Super Glu Gel to attach to another rock.
I'm not sure how to frag a favia though.
