Question about green algae/marshall island?

I have some marshall island that I pulled from another tank and it has some (not a whole lot) of green algae. What should I do??? I have scrubbed it a bit with a brush.
Will it go away once it is acclamated to proper water conditions and form coralline???
Do I need to cure it? Will that make it go away?

Ok firstly green algae is not going to turn into coralline. There is algae and there is coralline algae.. two very different types of algae!
Secondly if you have a good enough clean-up crew and you dont have much of a problem with algae in your tank currently then the algae on the rock SHOULD slowly start getting eaten and soon go away. If things start to get out of hand then just reduce the time you keep your lights turned on.
