Question about Green BTA taking a walk....

I have a 3-4 inch Green BTA anemone and he just decided to walk up the front glass of the tank. :(
Any idea for the best way to get him back on a Rock or the sand and getting him to stay off the glass? I wish you could glue an anemone down like I do my Coral Frags. :joy:

Since its on the glass you can try to pry him off their by using your fingernail gently under his foot.. its really never a good idea to try and move a anemone like this.. but sometimes you have to decide which is the worse of two evils.
He may eventually decide that the glass is a sucky place to sit and he'll move back to the rocks... but then again he may decide that your powerhead intake looks awfully inviting.... or he may decide (like mine did) that he wants to discover whats in your overflow box.

Yep, gently, slowly, carefully pry under its foot to get it loose and place it high on your rocks where it will get strong light and low to med. water flow then feed it a little for a few days and it might decide that it likes to be there.

Thanks guys, I did just that....Carefully pried his foot loose and he went tumbling to the sand. :scared: Then he rolled across the sand tumbling to the back of the tank from the water flow. The next morning I could not find him. After some hard looking I found him inside a artificial cave decoration I had in there only until I got more LR to fill the space which will be tomorrow. He is now at the cave opening, Hanging his tenticals out (Which I read they prefer to keep their "body" hidden from light) So now it seems I have to find room to leave that decoration in there. :( But as long as he is happy I can live with it.
Nemo sure changed his tude now....He attacks me when I have my hand in there doing anything.....Defending "his" anemone! ;)
