Question about Lighting

I recently invested in a lighting system for my 50 gal. It's a Coralife dual 50/50 bulb hood, its got the blue bulb and white bulb on each side and it says each side is 65 watts. I guess thats a total of 130 watts...is that enough for my reef... My LR seems to be doing well, I've noticed some feather dusters growing lately and the tank looks well lit. I've heard some people talk about their 500 watt super solar/moonlight whatever lighting systems and I'm just wondering where I stand.
Any comments would be appreciated.
Thanks

It depends on what you want to keep in the tank. I have 760 watts of MH and pc's on my 75 gal. I am keeping sps and lps and clams. From what you discribe you have NO or normal out put. That will do for fish only, live rock and some softies but not much more. Do some research on what you want to keep and than buy want you need for your live stock you want. Moonlights are for night viewing.
