Hi all, noob here, This moray is the one so called "freshwater eel" after searching I found out that theres no such thing as freshwater eel and that this eel live in Brackish waters and go back to the sea for breeding. My question is if it could survive in permanent saltwater?
Thnks in advance.
PS heres a link with pics.

i found this.. sooo?
" Although these Moray's will often get labelled as Freshwater, they are entirely Brackish fish, in fact needing quite a heavy salinity in their water, even Marine conditions. They will only enter Freshwater in the wild to spawn.
In order for this fish to be comfortable in it's surroundings it needs to have a large enough tank to stretch out, as well as plenty of hiding places."

Soooo, yes it can survive in an complete sea water conditions? Right now is in my Brackish water tank (salinity is 1.014). It was in a complete freshwater tank at the LPS, now in Brackish. Should I acclimate it to the Saltwater tank?
Thanks.
