Question about my coral and new LED lighting

Can anyone answer this for me? I just got Aqua Illumination Sol Blue lighting. I have a 120 gallon and two Sol blue LED units hanging approximately 10" from the water. I have the whites running at 50% blues at 70% and royal blues at 69%. Before this lighting I had PC's. BIG difference I know. I am running them at the output because I don't want to damage the coral. It has only been 3 days but everything looks good, healthy, and colorful.
Question: How do I know if the lighting is too intense, to quickly for the coral? Will they start to show signs of unhealthy before dying? Acclimating coral too the new light is not easy IMO. Am I doing this right?
The concern of burning coral is due to the white lighting or blue or both? Any advise is helpful. Here is the info on the units I have: From their site:
Optics:
We started from scratch and designed the optics of the Sol from the ground up. We use a combination of 40 degree lenses to penetrate the deepest tanks and 70 degree lenses to provide greater coverage over your tank. Our unique collimating optics design provides your tank with the light it needs as well as the shimmer affect you want
Spectral Output:
No matter what your color preference, you have a choice with the AI Sol. The Sol White provides a full power color spectrum of 12,000-14,000K and the Sol Blue provides a full power color spectrum closer to 20,000K.
Par:

Numerous industry experts have stated that 100-150 uMol at the sand bed is sufficient to satisfy the light needs of even the most difficult to grow corals. Our in-house testing, industry experts, and end user data shows that the AI Sol blows this requirement out of the water. (No-pun intended) Whether a 12 inch or 36 inch deep tank, the AI Sol suits your needs

what lighting did you have before? LED put out considerably more PAR than even Metal Halide and your coral must adjust to the increase. Especially if you have SPS coral. They can either bleach white or turn an ugly shade of brown. You need to set the intensity so that the light actually does not look as bright as the previous lighting for that reason. Then every several days you can try increasing the intensity by around 2%. I had a 150 watt Metal Halide running over my 29 biocube and just switched to the SOL 12" Super Blue. I have it running at 35% white, 40% blue and 45% royal blue for now. It is sitting about 4" above the water surface right now.

Following along, as I'm going to be in the same boat in the near future. Thanks for all your information and being my personal guinea-pig!

Hey Spanko, the main author said they had PC lighting, which again is the same boat I'm in. Where did you happen to get yours? I spoke with someone in my area that "sells" them but they said they were all out... it seemed a bit odd though because I googled mapped it and found they were a company based out of their house. You mentioned you have yours 4" above your water level... that'll be almost the EXACT placement I'll have mine... do you have yours drilled to a canopy? Is it even possible to drill these to a canopy? I also want to get the rack that'll allow me to slide them left and right to adjust the lighting fixture.

Spanko: I had PC's before. It was a 48" fixture. Do the blue lights have a factor? Can they damage coral or is it more the white lights? The whites are only at 50% right now. The blues are at about 70%. Can the blues damage coral? I guess that it my main question.
Sparty059: I recommend Aquacave.com or Bulk Reef supply. Both sell them for the same price.

I got the standard tank mount from AI and added some 1" square tube to get the height up. Yes you can put it in a canopy. I got mine from reefgeek.

Ok, so I just received an email from AI Support. I'd like to get feedback from everyone else before I make any crazy decisions. So my tank is very similar to Cam's. I have a 150 gallon tank, dimensions are 60"L x 18" or 20"W x 30"H. My overflow has teeth about 2" tall, which leaves anywhere from a 1" to 2" gap from the water level to the top of the acrylic. As I was saying before I currently use PC lights. 2x 65w Whites, and 2x 65w Actinics. I want to go the cost efficient route right now, but also don't want to spend $1000+ on these lights. I see I can get the Super Blue Sol LED's for around $500 a piece and I'm happy with that. I figured I would get two of these and remove the PC Fixture from my canopy and mount them in there. Since I have acrylic I know light breaks through much easier than if it were glass, so I have that on my side. One of the things I'm worried about and it's not even a big concern of mine is the spotlighting flaw of the unit being so close to the water. At about 2 1/2" tall I'm going to say it'll be 3" tall when mounted. My canopy measures at around 6" tall... so I will have a total of 5" maybe even pushing 6" of air/acrylic between light and water. How would that work out? I know I would have to drop intensity but would it still cover the length of my tank if I were to only get TWO units? Also, I've been doing constant research on these and find that people say they are equivalent if not more powerful than a 400w MH. If I were to get two of these and space them out properly would you assume it would cover the tank properly?
My next question would be, if I were to only get two, and they weren't powerful enough, would you assume they would be a step up (power-wise) than PC's? Assuming the fixture isn't strong enough, I will buy another unit sometime down the line, but right now I'd like to stick with two and see if that would work. What do you all think?
Think I can get away with 2 with out causing any issues, and still be able to get the more light intensive corals now?
My last question... does anyone know of any promo codes for the sites that sell these units? I found one for 5% off, but have been looking extremely hard to find something for anything more. Let me know!
Thank you all again in advance!

I would assume if a 72" tank can get by with three than a 60" tank would do just fine with two. My only concern at this point is if I can put it in a canopy. It doesn't seem like that'll be a viable option seeing that I would have to pretty much place the LED's flat up against the top board of the canopy which would restrict the air flow for the fans. Hmmmm... so I think I can get away with two which makes me happy, I just need to figure out how I'd set it up because I'm not going to hang them from a wall... no way no how!
