Question about my new (first) fish

I just got my first fish yesterday. He's a baby, very small percula clown. After folowing the proper acclimation procedure and introducing him into the tank, I left the lights off until this morning. When I woke up he has been sort of hiding behind one of my powerheads. (Hagen 402). I think he's sitting there because there isn't much current. Anyway, I'm not sure why he doesn't move around the tank or do anything but sit there? Also, he's still breathing pretty rapidly. Should I be worried??
I tried to feed a small pinch of "Flake Frenzy" to him, but he was not interested. My pet store said liquid plankton, is that what I should use?
Thanks for the help

He's probably just getting used to his new environment.
As long as he isn't getting thrown the length of your tank by the powerhead current it's fine.
I have 2 Percs and they luv frozen Brine shrimp and frozen Bloodworms.
There's nothing wrong with liquid Plankton...my peppermint shrimp really likes it .:D

When the lights go out, they are known to "sleep" somewhere. Mine, like yours, likes to chill next to the powerhead. Just give him a little time and he will evenually become less shy.
He will also develop a good appetite, also. My guy is such a pig he practically jumps out of the tank for food. He's nipped at my hand and will try to eat anything I put in the tank.
Just to show you how strange these guys can act... check this post out.
