Question about my ricordia...

I bought ricordia about a year ago and its doing great and it grew from a tiny rock about the size of a golf ball to a rock the size of my palm...covering everything...i dont think they like my new filter b/c there is alot more circulation and they haven't come out in 2 days...i was woundering will they die if they continue to stay in or should i/can i take it to a LFS and see if they'll buy it off of me?

My experience with rics is that they do best in low-med flow with high lighting. That's how I get the best results with my 3 different varieties.
