Question about particualr lighting system

Well, I am looking at slowly upgrading my FOWLR tank to a reef tank. First step though is getting enough light without breaking the bank. I am not looking at getting anything super special, just nice starter corals that need mid level light.
Now, I found this light that seems like it may be just the thing. It is a 2x 96W PC light system.
36" 2x96W Coralife Aqualight CF hood, 1x Actinic and 1x 10,000K
Now, has anyone tried this yet. I am just trying to get an idea if this would be a good choice before I go running out to buy it.
Also, would anyone have any comparable options?
Thanks for all the help,
Bill

Oops, my bad. It is a 30 Gallon tank and the light is selling for around $200.

My brother got one that had 4-65w PC for his 55g and they seem to be nice units.
With 2x 96W PC lights you would be good to go with softies and some LPS. No clams or sps.

for a 30g tank (if it had a canopy) I would do the following if I wanted to save some $$$.
Buy a workhorse 7 ballast. This will drive 220w of VHO and they are easy to wire up. do a search in the DIY section and you'll see just how easy this is to do. the ballast should cost you anywhere from $45 - $65 dollars at any graybar or other electric wharehouse. End caps cost about $9.95 on line and you will really prefer the look of VHO over PC. Not saying PC doesn't look good as I have a PC tank and it looks real nice just not quite as nice as the VHO.

Whats the look difference between the VHO and PC? I guess one has to see them both side by side to compare...

Haunt ----. I've recently scored some pretty good lighting deals. Just be sure to check the seller's feedback ratings.
