question about ph monitors

I am thinking of getting a ph monitor posibly a Pinpoint ph monitor. I was woundering how well these work. Do you have to leave them in the tank or can you just drop the probe in and check the ph in one tank then move to another tank and check it too? If you can move it from tank to tank do you have to leave it in the tank for a while to get a reading? Also how easy are they to calibrate. Thanks for any help.

You can move them from tank to tank if you like since it only takes a few seconds to get a reading. They only have to be calibrated evey so often which is very easy to do. I have a pinpoint in my 72g and a Aqua Controller system in my 180g which has various other probes and functions.
