Question about Quarantine tank

Mine is set up and I have used it to save some fish. I am now being patient and keeping new fish in there. Should I hypo them even if they look healthy? I just have been monitoring fish for five days in there and it looks good. How long do I keep him in and should I be hypoing him for the month? Thanks in advance

It is not necessary to hypo fish unless you see ich developing. Some hobbyists go ahead and do it regardless just because it gives you a jump start on treatment. Its up to you if you want to do hyposalinity prophylacticly.
3 weeks min in QT.
