Question about Refugium

I was thinking about buying a phosphate reactor for my new 55g with a 30g Fuge (might be bigger). I was thinking, could I just put the PhosBan filter media in a filter bag and place it in between the Fuge baffles or perhaps in the return compartment?
Let me know

Phosban needs to be used in a low flow environment. Using it in a high flow area can cause the media to grind against itself and suspend in solution, causing severe problems with the tank.
If you do it this way, be sure to place it in a very gentle flow area.

How slow is slow? My pump pumps water out at a rate of 700GPH, (with a 4-5 feet distance to travel I'd say it will go down to 600). Is that slow enough to place it in the return section of my fuge?

Id say that is wayyyy too fast. A phosban reactor can only have at most 200 gph. The trick is to get it so that the media is just barely turning and moving.
