I am curious if I can use rocks that have been in my freshwater tank as base rocks. The rocks have been in the tank alittle more then 2 years. I never used any chemicals in the tank. Also the rock is Lace Lava Rocks.
As long as you never used any chemicals (i.e. copper) in your FW tank there should be no problem. I have some of the lava lace rock in my tank and it looks great. You can't even tell that it wasn't LR to start.
