Question about saltwater

Since salt doesn't evaporate does that mean you should only add regular water when your water level gets low?

I put saltwater in mine. I have a rubber mad container with premixed saltwater in it.

but if your adding more salt to the salt that never evaporates from your tank doesn't that mean your slowing making the specific gravity to high?

I add a gal of RO water every 4-5 days because thats how much evaps

Yes, only the water evaporates so replace it with fresh water. However, you need to check your specific gravity and add saltwater when Specific Gravity begins to get low. Salt is removed from your system through a few ways; filtration, salt creep, etc.

Saltwater is dumped durring a water chage. You just have to test your levels. If its low then you add saltwater, if its high you add freshwater.
