ok has anyone else noticed that when you write certain words that a smiley will come up in the middle of the word? like if a word has b and w right beside each other a brick wall smiley will come up?
see any way to avoid that?

... hmm... doesn't happen to me ... ;) just kidding, there's a 'Disable smilies in text' option when writing a message.

If you look when you select a smiley, it is letters to represent the image. If you type those letters then the smiley comes up. How is the system to know if you want to say those letters or if you selected that letter combo as a smiley?

Sep, Not sure if your question is rhetorical or not, but I will answer it. When you do an advanced reply right below the box you are typing in is an "additional options" box. The second line down says "diable smilies in text". Check that box and then you will be able to write whatever you want, within reason that is.
