How long do you have to wait to do a water change after a top off?

no set time. You can top off that day and still do a water change. i try to not top off if i know i have to do a change though. I do a 110 - 15 % change every week ~ Your welcome

Also, what is the best way to get salinity down. What is the best salinity to use with a coral tank. It is 8 gallon and the salinity is about .025

1.025-26 is what I keep my reef at.

I keep mine at exactly 1.025 also.
