Question? (baseball)

Why aren't the phillies the "lovable loosers?" They've won less WS since their inception than the Cubbies or Boston (Before a couple years ago) They have the same LOONG history, they are in the NE so ESPN has to like them. I don't understand...

If you listen to enough ESPN, the network does recognize that the city does need a championship. Their last world championship in the major 4 was 1983.
As for lovalble losers, the fan's rough exterior may have something to do with that.

Look at the Raiders. They may not beat you on the field but we know who's winning the gang fight in the parking lot after the game/

They have won less but the cubs have not won since 1908. That and all of the curses that both Bostons and the Cubs have.

We always have loved the Rays though. Go to their games any chance we can when we are in FLA.
We got to see them beat the Bosox in St. Pete a few summers ago.....LOVED that day!!1

As you can see, Jeanheckle IS from Philly. I believe she was among the Eagles crowd a few years ago that "booed" Santa Clause off the field.
But she does have her finer points. You should see her gun collection!!!
(I'm just glad I'm not her virtual spouse. See my other post...)
