Question: Feeding Condi

I have a pretty good size Condi (about 6" across) and have had it for some time now. I have been feeding it 1 raw shrimp a week, but had read on the board somewhere that you weren't supposed to feed them prepackaged food. I can't find the thread now, but was needing some opinions on this. I do NOT purchase the bagged cooked shrimp, but plain raw shrimp. But I guess it is prepackaged. It's on the styrofoam tray with plastic wrap on it. I would think, that as long as it didn't have preservatives or anything in it, that it would be fine. I read the thread and didn't think anything else about it, but now I'm wondering what she meant.
Please give me your opinions on this, and let me know what you feed yours and how often. Thanks.

I feed mine every few days. Mine really likes silversides. Although I also throw in the occasional tiger prawn from my own freezer. The ones I use are frozen and still in their shells. But It eats pretty much anything.

I've had the condi below in my FOWLR for about two years now....I feed it about once a week(sometimes twice) with an assortment of frozen foods...mysis/brine/silversides/krill etc...never been a problem and the condi continues to be in great condition.I have fed it fresh sea foods(shrimp/scallope) from time to time but primarily it gets the same packaged products I use to feed all my marine creatures....
