Question for Beth or Terry or anyone that knows the answer!

I have had to set up a quaratine tank (Emergency) fast.
I read Beth's instructions. I can not get the PVC pieces
to stay on the bottom on the tank.....
How do I stop them from floating Please ?
I have 3 fish in there with nothing to hide in... HELP!

A friend gave it to me, it looks like PVC pipe.
Maybe it is not.
I will go buy some and make sure if it is not supposed to float then maybe it's a PVC look alike.
She had it laying around from a building she is having built.
It's not old thy just cut it but I am NOT sure .
It's ok though because I took it out before I put the fish in and I rinsed it with bleach water etc. real well.
I will throw it away and get new, although it looks like my are not going to make it anyway I will go buy REAL PVC.
Thank you for letting me know, at least now I know the secret.
REAL PVC pipe does NOT float. I was kinda stummped on that one. .

i dont know that cleaning the pipe with bleach water was the best thing to do?! it is very hard to rinse all bleach off of anything, i know this cause my dad delivers hazardous chemocals. I would suggest not rinsing anything in bleach that will be in your tank in the future.
