Question for general knowledge

Do cleaner shrimp clean Ich, in its early stages, on a fish that may have it? I dont have Ich but was wondering if they could prevent it

cleaner shrimp take care of eveyrhting, not just ick but other marine paricites. they only "clean off" the ick when it is on the fish. they are great addition to a tank.

i agree just remember that they only clean the ick off the fish, the ick will still be in the tank

think of ick as a free water disease..its in the water it attatches itself to the fish, the shrimp will clean it off the fish but you have to combat the fact its in the water..-jake
