Question for the experts: Xenia yes/no?

Is this a Xenia? I couldn't find it in my book CORALS - Quick Reference Guide by Julian Sprung.
Furthermore, when I got it (three weeks ago), it was almost continuously opening and closing its "hands". Currently, they stay open all the time. Is this normal?

Thanks - Indeed the ALK is a bit low (7 dKH). I hope that's it and it soon pulse again. Great bio-indicator if it is indeed the case.

The only thing I can add is just a guess or two from the pics. Other than the typical water quality possibilities I noticed two things.
1. The stalk is much thinner and the polyps are very thin in comparison to the first pic. The color is also not as rich (lighter in color) I would check your lighting. Xenia IMHO, like the one in the second pic, are "stretching" for light.
2. All the polyps seem to be evenly spaced and open. Is the xenia in good current? Xenia can handle moderate to high current with no trouble. It needs current to be happy IMHO.
Just a few other things to consider.
