Question for those with puffers

I have a valentini puffer, and occasionally I'll see him eyeing my snails and hermits. Is it possible for the puffer to coexist with any inverts? If so, which ones? I'd like to add some shrimp, possibly a cleaner shrimp. I don't want to spend $20 on a snack for the puffer though!

I would say the other critters like snails and stuff should be ok. Just keep the puffer well fed and he shouldn't have the urge to eat shrump. Continue monitoring him no matter what until you are finally sure he will behave!

and prepare to replace inverts everyonce in a while cuz he could be really good for a long time and one day decide he wants to eat your shrimp or hermit crab!
