eels aren't fish. Triggers are. All fish are susceptible to ich. But if someone with more experiences with eels can reply. (I have limited experience with eels and don't want to mislead you)

uh...... eels are fish. They just dont have scales like fish do. Eels cant get ick

Thanks, Cartman. I never thought of them as "fish" I don't put sharks or rays there either. I should explain it as a scale disease?? Sound better?

accually even fish that are considered to be scaleless do get ich sharks rays puffers and such even tangs are conscidered to be a scaless fish.so in that prespective id say scaless fish have a higher chance contracting ich.thats not proven but kinda my own take on it.
