possibly, but just keep in mind that they can always move when they want. just because they find a spot doesnt mean its permanent. could be temporary, also keep in mind that these guys will get big under the right conditions

The other thing to consider is that anemones need an established tank, I've heard at least 6 mos. old or longer. If you plan to get one before adding corals, then you're going to be waiting a while. And everything you read about anemones is that you can't count on them staying put anywhere for long. Sometimes they do and sometimes they keep moving. Also, once they do choose somewhere, you can't really move them. They anchor themselves pretty well, and if you try to force them you can tear their fleshy foot. Consider yourself lucky if they choose a place front and center.

There are many on this list that have clowns that are hosting their hammer corals, frogspawn, polyps, xenia and more. I've never heard about these types of corals dying because of having clowns host them. But I certainly don't know everything either.

In most cases the prefered way of going about getting an anenome IMO is to get one when either your tank is coral free or if the corals you have can be moved. If you have the right set up to house an anenome then it will take a little while for it to move about looking for the best combination of lighting and flow. When it finds its ideal location it will foot and more than likely stay there for a very long time sometimes even years, if, it has indeed found its ideal spot. Although in the process it very well may move over your corals or even get close to them. However if its not in the location it is happy in, it wont hang out there just to fight with a coral. Just because an anenome moves past a coral does not mean that they will sting eachother. If it decides to reside next to one then the possiblity becomes greater and in most cases moving the coral is the recomended thing to do. I personally have had my RBTA hang out right under one my corals and they were millimeters away from eachother but no stinging occured. I think its a gamble no matter what, getting an anenome will not ensure your clowns will leave your corals alone and host it. They may decide never to host anything, or your power head insetad.
