Im building my own sump out of a 40gal and going to use silicon on it. What kind of silicon should I use? Any kind NOT to use?

Both Home Depot and Lowes carry an "Aquarium Safe" silicone. It's made by DAP. It comes in a gray and black tube, and is called "DAP Aquariums, Aquarium Sealant 100% Silicone" NO NOT use any silicone that is mildew resistant
