Question on Feather Dusters

I have had a Feather duster for about a week now from swf.com and he shed his crown yesterday. no big dea it happens but now he has climbed outside of his tube and is movong around! is this normal has anyone had this happen to them???i can tell he is still alive but what the hell is goin on its weird!!! Is there Someone out there that can tell me what hes doin??? :notsure:

I've had it happen with 1 of my 4 featherdusters. He "jumped ship" and moved into a hole in my live rock. Once comfortable he regrew his casing and crown in little time. No problems since.

I missed seeing mine crawl around, but I've heard that they have a face only a mother could love. I thought it was gone, only to find it about a week later with the new case and crown.

wow thats crazy i kind of thought he might though. they look incredibly weird and its tru only a mother could love that face; the face looks like it was going 100 miles an hour and hit a wall straight on, their bodies are even weirder though!!! mines body changes color from red to green to brown its crazy!!! :scared:

They don't regrow a tube, they build them.

I was cleaning the inside of my tank with the magfloat and acidentaly broke my feather dusters tube. I thought he was dead. Then I noticed some tiny ruble gathering in a particular area and thought it was odd. I tried to stir it up, but it was stuck. I could just barely see the worm in the middle of the rubble. A couple days later he made a new tube and he is fine. :jumping:
