i have a 55 main tank. have removed all the fish to hospital tank
only 2 left. treating 2 remaining fish with copper, would it be smarter to take the 2 fish return them to the main tank and remove crabs ,shrimp, and 2 corals to hospital tank, replace water in hospital tank with new saltwater, nothing in hospital tank just hang on filter for cerculation. then do hypo on main tank
and 2 fish. i saw a salt meter that went down to 1.004 at lfs. would this accurate enough. if meter is calibrated at 75 degrees what would the reading need to be at 80. trying to save last 2 buddies.

Well, you've already started copper, why change treatment directions at this point? Just be sure to maintain the copper level in your tank for the duration of the treatment. You need a copper test for this, and one that is compatible with the copper you are using.

the reason that i was thinking of doing something different is because i've been told that copper is no good for the fish, have lost 2 more fish in the treatment tank, told that copper isn't the best cure for ich, and this would kill the ich in the main tank which is probably still full of ich. make any sense:)
