it came all together, but now i really need he OUT tube to be alot longer. BRS says i can just pull out the tube. are they talking the tube only or the whole connection piece?
the waste water line is like 10ft..the good water line is about 3 ft..very hard to reach where i wan to store it. i would like to switch the tubing so the longer one is the good water. they said its quick connect and just pull it out. are they meaning the tube or the whole connector? seems odd the out good water tube would be so dang short
You just need to push the little connector in on the quick connect fitting and then slide the hose out of the connector....You can make the lines as long or short as you want......Kind of hard to explain how to disconnect, but you just need to force the hose inward/back into the connector and the little ring around the hose itself push inward and then slide the tubing out of the connector.....HTH
ive been directing the waste water to the washing machine. what do others do with that water? my husband is going to direct it a rainbareel in the spring.
i was easily able to change out the tubing. and i am relatively happy with the machine. i direct one to tube to washer and other to tub i use for tank water. i do this a day before im going todo a change. the water is heated in a black tub, with a 400w heater. im afraid to use hot water in the RO machine, cus there is copper pipes involved.
still interested in how others handle the large waste
As far as waste water I just pump it down the drain.....Might have to start using it to fill the washing machine....I've heard others collect it in barells and use it for watering flowers or gardens and such.....
As far as running hot water through the RO unit.....would be ill advised to do so.....If you do a little checking there is a recommended water temp to get a little more production out of your unit. Copper lines will have no affect on your RO unit Patti w
