Question on new BTA

OK, so I took the plunge and bought my first BTA, which I've had for two and a half days. It almost immediately took hold between two rocks near the bottom of my tank, and hasn't moved since.
I have two issues with it:
1. It has two feet - does that mean it is going to split soon?
2. It shrivels up and gets very small and stringy and seems to "poop" things into the tank. It does this two to three times per day. Then it comes back out and looks happy!
My tank is 75G with two 175 10K MH and 2 96W 7100 Blue PC.s Water parameters are: SG -23
Ammonia, nitrite and nitrate = 0
Temp = 78.5
Two Maxijet 1200 pumps, 1 Aquavia 480 powerheads
115 lbs live rock
Any help or suggestions would be appreciated!!! :notsure:

Questions:
1. Have you been feeding it?
2. What do you mean by two feet?
3. What color is this excretion? 2 or 3 times per day for what both days you have had it or 3 days.
The shrinking and expanding is perfectly normal. However if you are not feeding it then I'd be concerned that if it is excreating 2 or 3 times per day then I'm afraid that it may be its zooxanthellae, this would not be a good thing.
Also a pic would be nice

It is 3 times per day!! My lighting is MH, so I don't know why it's zooanthelae (spelling?) would leave. I have not fed it anything since I got it. I will try to get a pic this evening.

Stress from having been moved. Sebea for example do this when they are collected. Not so much the BTA's though but it can happen.

OK. I took some pics but this is the first time I have ever tried to upload, so I hope I do this right. The pic with all the color showing the two feet was taken with a flash. Others are without a flash. As you can see by the pics, I moved my zoos after it deflated (was getting a LITTLE bit too close!)

Pics can be no larger than 500x500 pixels, resize try again.

I think I finally got the pic thing figured out, so here goes. It's hard to see, but in the second picture you can see the "poop" coming off the BTA. The last picture shows what looks like two feet (this picture was taken with a flash. I didn't use one with the other pictures).

I would suspect acclimation shock looking at the pictures.
Double checking, you have a SGof 1.023? bump it up to 1.025.
I also want test scores for calcium, alkalinity, and a pH average if possible.

I keep close watch of those parameters
Alk = 11
Calcium =400PH = 8.4
I will start increasing salinity next watcher change on Thursday.
Thanks!!
