I just bought 2 Maxi-Jet 900 powerheads with 230 gph flow rate...
I have a 29 gallon tank with a canister filter attached (350 gph)... I am creating a reef out of the system and was curious if these powerheads will possibly be too much for the size of the tank? (if thats possible)
I am going to get at least 1 more powerhead anyway so i can mix saltwater prior to topoffs and water changes... and I could get 2 maxi-jet 160 instead (160 gph)...
I hope someone here has some experience with water flow and could answer this
