Question on Replacing MH bulbs

Ok, so several recent threads I could find talked about changing out lights only one at a time so corals don't experience shock. However, my light only has one MH bulb - so when I change it do I reduce the lighting schedule or something to help avoid shocking the corals?

When you only have one, there isn't much you can do. Changing the schedules will cause even more stress. I've personally never experienced much trouble when changing lamps. Things may shrink down for a few days, but for me things have always come back.

Ok Quint thanks. I wasn't sure which way to go.
