Hey once again I know that this skimmer isnt that great but for me right now its in my budget and its doing a good job since I hooked it up 2 days ago. My question has to do with the exiting water from the top tube going in to tank.. It's been pouring the water in with lots of bubbles...how can I stop this? any tips? I f i futzz with the top nozzle so that the water exits with no buubles it wont skim then, and if i twist so it starts to skimm again it pours out the bubble like nobodys bizzzness
.. any advice or tips? it's a 150 seaclone/55 gallon tank

You really just have to keep adjusting that knob....when you have an air bubble in the u-tube...turn the knob ever so slightly and stop turning it as soon as that bubble is gone....You should be able to run that skimmer with no air bubbles coming from return.

Yes, the tube on the side of the skimmer...the flow in there should have air in it, but not an air pocket...if it is straight water (clear) you have the knob too tight....if you have an air pocket in the u...you have the knob too loose...alll this affects how your skimmer works

I'll try to keep my opinions on Seaclone skimmers to myself

LOL...I know a LOT of people dislike them, Got to say they have worked well for me though, and in all reality if this is what your budget supports, then you have to deal with it.
