Question on the Mithrax Crab...

Will the Mithrax crab eat my chaetomorpha?
I have chaeto stuffed behind my rocks where it cannot be seen, but still benefit my tank with nutrient export. I have some bubble algae in my tank and would like to see it go, but I don't want a mithrax crab to eat my good macroalgae in my tank.
Anybody know?

Also, have you had success with these crabs eating bubble algae?

my crab eats my cheato all the time. I think it's good though cause he's happy and he keeps it from getting out of control a little.

I have had pretty good luck with a mithrax crab eating bubble, sometimes they won't touch the really big ones.
And more than likely it will eat your chaeto also.
