question re: dwarf lion

hey i was wondering if a dwarf lion would be able to eat a good size clown, or a firefish. the firefish dosent swim that much but can book it if he needs too. oh yeah, there is TONS of hiding spaces in my tank too. how about inverts? i have a 55 with about 60-70 lbs of LR case it makes a difference.

even if it is a dwarf lion??? the firefish dosent even let the clown close to it. how fast do dwarf lions move when feeding anyways? are they like top fuel dragster fast or more like stock muscle car fast, or what?

Hi:
i would say to you a lionfish is hungry fast.
They are capable of short bursts of speed. W/ that said I have only one damsel (out of 5 which) was able to outswim the lions. I don't think its sheer speed, lion hunt during dawn/dusk whenother fish are beginning to rest. If he doesn't catch him now, he'll catch him later. The clown might be safe, to me it depends on who out grows who first
