question with live rock

i don't know why all the lfs, in denver, fortcollins won't carry ls GRRRRR, i want copepod.
i have one question about lr, if the lr don't have any crittles that i can see, and just a little plants, will it be the lr?
cause only one of the lfs in my area have the lr with lots of crittles, some sponges, and clams alike creature.

alot of the LR that is sold here is fairly bare of anything but a few days after getting it into the tank things start to come out at night. the more life that you can see the more the rock has but becarefull because one of LFS,s here sell his uncured LR as cured they are in the same tank and he doesnt tell you any different.

I just ordered some aquacultured lr online last week and it blew away all my lfs rock supply. You will find tons of life on it. The rock I picked up from my lfs was full of coraline but after my online order it is now being used as a base rock. It was cheap and beautiful. I'm expecting my second shipment tomorrow along with ls.
