nano tanks are below 30 gallons above 2.5 gallons
i'm crazy bout them because... i dunno.. i didn't know what they were called when i started.. just wanted a sw tank.. found out later what they were and the tank grew on me....

i think the biggest(or smallest) thing about em is that you can maintain a reef like atmosphere, with half the cost, and a quarter of the size that typical reef tanks used to be..and the other thing is if you can maintain a nanoreef you are a good fish keeper, the difficulty is far greater...IMO i dont have one but this is my guesstimate
