i got a aqua pod 24 for christmas and i set it up yesterday. my tank only came with 5 bio balls in it do i need more or should i just let it go.

I personally would take them out all together. If you are going to add about 1.5lbs of live rock per gallon and have enough flow, you should be fine. Just don't overstock at all.
Also, when you put in any filtration media, make sure you change it at least once a week or else it's going to cause problems.

thanks i only have about 10lbs of live rock right now. i'm just waiting for it to start the cycle my water is crystal clear and has been since i started the tank.

Now is the time to add more rock. Since you already have 10 pounds of live rock, you could just add another 25 pounds or so of base rock to save money. In time, the base rock will become live anyway. In your tank I would aim for about 30-35 pounds of rock. Congrats on the tank.
