many people know I've been having water problems; its getting better but really slowly.. I tested my phos. and ammonia right now and the results were .35 and .15. I want to order the 50.00 clean up crew b.c i only have 2 snails and a star fish and i think it will help my water situation A lot. but, i don't want to order it if they will die. so any thoughts would be great.. as of now I'm cornered against the wall and I need options

A clean up crew will not improve water quality. They will just eat algae, detritus, leftover food and turn your sand bed.
Water quality is improved by:
1. Protein Skimmers
2. Algae scrubbers
3. Water Changes
4. Nitrate and phosphate absorbing media
5. Feed less, rinse food
6. Having/buying enough live rock to support the system.
7. Macroalgaes / Refugiums
8. Filtration media

I'm sure there are other ways to improve water quality... like vodka and vitamin C dosing... but that's all I can think of off the top of my head.
