have a 7 gallon tank. have a proquatic 300 external filter that pumps 300gallons of water through the filter and a internal fluval 2 filter taht pumps 105gallons of water per hour through the filter. i want to make a mini reef tank out of this with one clown and maybe a goby. I have one 32 watt power compact 50/50. is this lighting enough and is the filter system and water current enough for a mini reef? i have about 18-25lb of rocks in my tank now. about 2 inches of live sand. any advice would be good.

Your filters will be plenty for that size tank(may be a little too muc current acctually.) Your lights will be good enough to keep lower light corals(like mushrooms, leathers, and xenias.) Everything sounds good so far. Are you using RO water? If ya aren't it would be to your advantage to start using it(makes for happier corals.) The clown and goby will be fine as long as they are small. Do you have any type of cleanup crew yet? If ya don't I'd get about 7 snails and about 3-4 hermits. HTH :D

I would wait on more cleanup. Let it run for a while and slowly add more as needed to make sure you dont starve any thing
