I've been reading lots on this board but need some additional advice.
First of all, what else can we do for the Ocellaris Clown with lymphocystis? (Yes, it's definitely lymphocystis.) It appears to be getting worse in some areas but better in other areas. It started just a day or two after we brought him home from the store. Unfortunately, it's gotten to the inside and outside of the edge of his mouth and he can't seem to close his mouth because of it. He stays in one spot, constantly swimming -- day and night. It never appears to rest. We're feeding it flakes and pellets in the AM and frozen meaty food with the zoecon and freshly minced garlic in the PM. He pretty much only likes the pellets and ignores the rest. I'm really worried about him.
Also, the Royal Gramma has become territorial of the *entire* tank, charging at the cleaner shrimp and clown with its mouth open. It doesn't appear to be biting tho. It also charges the glass of the tank -- maybe it sees its own reflection?
Eventually, we plan on getting a Yellow Watchman, a baby clownfish, and a frogspawn when appropriate. So, with the additions to the tank, will the Royal Gramma become less aggressive or is it always going to remain a bully? I'm worried about the extra stress the Gramma may be causing the clown.
Thanks.
